Well now. I never write in this. I really am just never on my computer.

Yesterday I was at Kyle's house and we had his brother smash a cantelope, a pineapple, a can of seltzer, and a can of spaghettios with a giant sledge hammer for photography. Haha it interesting. Especially when his brother nailed himself directly in the eye with spaghettios. Oh those boyscouts.
In other news, I have been out of touch with all my friends, and I feel bad. I ought to start trying to get over my thing wtih hating phones.

I also have been looking like a half assed hippy lately. <lj:music>The Dears- Never Destroy Us</lj:music>

I realized that when I am in Tennessee I mainly end up going to small music venues, discussing music with music junkies for hours and randomly going kayaking at one point.

Note: Spencer- If you have not listened to the Dears and The Magic Numbers, give them a listen. I think you might like them.

Man oh man! There is an awesome indie music cd store here, they don't bother with all the genre crap, they just do everything alphabetically and have all the good stuff from bands that you can't find and aren't mainstream and have all the rarities and b-sides. It excited me. I need to go back! Also I need to go to the used CD store here called Great Escape and load a shopping basket of CD's ang only pay like $50. I hate that we don't have good record stores where we are. We have nothing where we are. Newbury Comics can be decent though. Just pricey and the employees are so moody and look at you with disgust when you don't buy into their genre like crazy I've found. Okay, I'm done. I'm going to randomly go somewhere and practice drums for awhile now. Then I might get to go to the Exit/In club here (small venue where a lot of bands have gotten their start) or a random jazz club and listen to some jazz musicans I have no idea who they are. Farewell.

<lj:music>Siouxsie and the Banshees- Cities in Dust</lj:music>

Well this is a rare occasion for me, I am actually updating this. So enjoy, or detest to, my latest entry.
I am currently at Laura's house filling up some time while she is off taking care of personal matters. It has been rather uneventful and mundane, mainly just accompanying each other in absent minds. Watched Shaun of the Dead for the 5th time. Also re-viewed Star Wars. Yeah. That was thrilling. We enjoyed some nice popcorn. Laura ate it all rather expediently. I would of eaten more slowly, but it would of been all gone by my second handful if I had done so. So I decided that eating like my normal self would not be the best plan of action for my stomach. Laura is making shooting noises at me. She really could use some shut eye before she goes too crazy. I have no idea what she is laughing all crazy-like about. But she made a laugh that sounded British. If the British have distinct laughs, Laura has accomplished this fine skill. I am afraid she is ill with laughing. But now cured. Or not. Now she might explode by trying to hold it in. I am sure it would be much more deadly if she had just drank lots of water (H2O for Spencer). I miss my Dave Brubeck CD. I do have my coon huntin' hat however, this is quite pleasing. Good-day.

Dropkick Murphy's concert at the Avalon was really good. Crowd surfed 5 almost 7 times (two of the attempts were short lived because I was too near the mosh pit so people didn't realize I was above thier heads.) The opening acts were Far From Finished and The Unseen. Far From Finished were good, had a good energy. The Unseen were crap as expected. They were your typical crappy punk band. "This song is called Social Security AHHH RAHHAS..." "This song is about George Bush AHH RAHH HAS BRAHHHHAHH..." their whole set went something like that, they even had a song where they just screamed dead and gone over and over for two minutes. They all sounded exactly the same. Then Murphy's came on and I deployed myself into the crowd from the boxes. Got thrown into two mosh pits. It was interesting because they were all big bald shirtless sweaty guys. That is one thing I hate about the 'rock scene' sometimes. I know it gets hot, but you can still keep the shirts on. I got onstage with Dropkick Murphy's for awhile and talked to the singer some. After their set was done I was just randomly onstage touching stuff and hugged the drummer for no apparent reason. Then I took a playlist from one of the amps. Twas a good energy show.

Alright, so I made a rap about respect in career life because I had to. We could do either a song, skit, or rap in a group of three. But I had no group. No one is my class. Well Megan, Melissa, and Emma are, but Melissa was somewhere else and Megan and Emma were in another group. Well when it comes time for me to share my rap with the world and unleash my feelings in gangster rap, I managed to confuse about every person in the class. I read it very dramatically too. Everyone was kind of like "What the fuck? Is she serious?" I found great amounts of amusement in this.

Yo fo yo, hit it
yo
Respect is fo the hommies
dawgs respect the cats
yo hommie g's and hos
respect is coo
with no l
yo
the golden rule aint just fo yo gold fronts
its for your hommies and g's too
and the people on the other coast
yoizzle
i got shot
but i still respect
yo

Quiet Woman at Restaurant: When it was over, all I could think about was how this entire notion of oneself, what we are, is just this logical structure, a place to momentarily house all the abstractions. It was a time to become conscious, to give form and coherence to the mystery, and I had been a part of that. It was a gift. Life was raging all around me and every moment was magical. I loved all the people, dealing with all the contradictory impulses - that's what I loved the most, connecting with the people. Looking back, that's all that really mattered.
-Waking Life

Wow, today was great. I mean the entire cast and crew were dead tired for the show, but afterwords when we were striking set a lot of us randomly got energy. Well Krista and I were helping Andrew to take apart the state room (if you saw the play it was the part that we pushed out) and it attacked us. Andrew had the power drill and was taking out the screws while Krista and I just sort of lightly held it up in place. We thought there was still one screw in when the last one was being removed, but we were wrong. We swear it was in slow motion and the set fell over us. We both sort of looked over and saw the other panic and try to avoid being killed by it. It fell over us while we were under the doorways and it only got our legs a little. We get up look at each other and can't stop laughing. It was like some Charlie Chaplin moment.
